Degus

Degus have to be supplied with very little sugar (sugar-free), as they are used to it from their countries of origin, Chile and Peru, with their barren landscape. Unfortunately, degus tend to be over-fat and have diabetes.

Permitted food is among others: Seeds, grains, twigs, branches, leaves, herbs dried and fresh and some vegetables.

Degus are extremely sociable animals and should therefore never be kept alone. It is recommended to keep a group of 4 or more animals, because Degus are extremely difficult to socialize.

The animals are exclusively cared for by their families and are not put together with other conspecifics.

There are 3 different enclosure sizes to choose from for care.

The offer includes the following services: Bedding, sand bath, hay, straw, herbs, water bottles, feeding bowls, provision of the equipment of the holiday accommodation, final cleaning of the holiday accommodation.

The usual degu dry food has to be brought by yourself.

Prices per day incl. 19% VAT. The calculated minimum stay is 3 days.
