The Happy Feet animal boarding house offers plenty of space and great accommodation for all pets, large and small. Whether 30 gram dwarf hamster or 85 kilo mastiff.
Learn more about me and the different accommodations of the guests. Have a look at a few pictures in the gallery. Of course my animal boarding house is checked and approved by the Veterinary Office Wiesloch according to §11 of the Animal Protection Act.
With my training as a veterinary assistant and my experience in veterinary medicine since 2005, I can immediately sense when an animal needs help or is behaving unusually.

I would be happy to give you a personal tour of my boarding house, if the information presented here on my website is not yet sufficient
for you to make a decision about placing your pets with me. I charge 20 Euros for the visit.

Adopt, don’t shop
Every animal deserves the chance of a loving and suitable home. That is exactly what we have been committed to for many years, with heart and dedication in animal welfare.
Our motto,„Adopt don’t shop“stands for the conscious decision to give animals from rescue organizations, animal shelters, or foster homes a new perspective instead of buying them from breeders or pet shops.
Anyone who adopts an animal helps reduce animal suffering, avoids supporting mass breeding, and gives an animal in need a second chance. It is a decision that is not only sensible, but also feels right – for both people and animals.

We take in and rehome:
guinea pigs, rabbits, various species of mice, rats, hamsters, degus, and birds.
As our rescue capacities are limited, we review each request individually.
We ask for your understanding that, for this reason, we may not be able to confirm every intake immediately.
Dogs
I never look after more than a maximum of 3 guest dogs together. The dogs live with me in the house. A completely fenced in garden with 1000 square meters is available for free romping without leash.
Cats
Cats do not have owners, but staff. Therefore I have made it my task to do justice to all royal cats in the best possible way. All character types are welcome here.
Birds
Whether parakeets, canaries or small parrot species, they are all welcome. The holiday aviary offers the animals a species-appropriate and varied facility.
Mice
White mice are already known from ancient Crete and Egypt. There they were considered sacred animals and lucky charms. Mice are more and more appreciated as pets.
Hamster
„All you can eat“, cheek pouches filling is your motto. Whether small or large, all hamsters have special cheek pouches in which you can stuff anything you don't want or can't eat at the moment.

Rats
Rats are extremely clever and sociable animals. Not only since the movie "Ratatouille" they are gaining more and more popularity as a popular pet.
Degus
Degus have to be supplied with very little sugar (sugar-free) as they are used to it from their countries of origin with barren landscapes, Chile and Peru.
Ferret
As the feeding of ferrets varies extremely, I would ask you to bring your own usual food.
Ferrets are extremely sociable animals and should therefore never be kept alone.
Chinchillas
Chinchillas live in South America in a very dry area with little vegetation. Their food should therefore consist of grasses, herbs, hay, twigs, various types of leaves and cacti.
Rabbits
Many people do not realize how much care a rabbit needs. They can weigh from 1.5 kg to 6 kg and therefore need a lot of space to run, jump and dig!
Guinea pigs
Small beady eyes, cuddly fur and the cute squeak - guinea pigs are very popular as pets. They are small, make hardly any noise, are usually very tame and like to be stroked by humans.
